Let me get this straight
Maybe I’m confused, because I live in Cambodia now, but I just want to make sure I read this right. Oakland has literally several hundred cops available to violently disperse a peaceful protest, but for years (decades even) the city has claimed that its horrific homicide/crime rate is due to a lack of cops?

Pro Tip: Check Flight Details Before Booking
So, by some quirk, Orbitz neglected to show that the flight I just booked has me in Seoul, Korea for 36 hours on my way back to Phnom Penh from California in January. And I was too stupid to check the flight details, assuming they were the same as the earlier date I had just searched. (It always shows that red font + 2 days, no?!) Ah well, I love Korean food, and have always wanted to go to...

Remember when I mentioned I have hypochondriac...
I just freaked out in the shower after my first swim workout in nearly a year, because I found what is 99% likely to be a large mosquito bite in my armpit.
So while I was busy convincing myself that I was about to live through Tears of Endearment, I forgot my goggles and swimsuit at the pool.
And now, two hours later, my evil brain is still convincing my rational brain that it’s a tumor....
